Kalen Anderson!
Congratulations, Kalen! I'll be contacting you soon to get you your Truth & Life Audio Bible.
Our next drawing is for Persuasive Pro-Life by Trent Horn. I should have that posted this evening.
We spent the day at the cancer centers in KC, so I'm a little behind. Tuesdays are Russ's weekly visits with the medical onocologist, so I'm going to move the remaining drawings to Wednesdays.
Persuasive Pro Life
In Persuasive Pro-Life, Trent Horn draws from his extensive experience as both a pro-life advocate and trainer of other advocates to teach us how to be effective advocates for life wherever God has placed us. He covers what to say and how to say it, dos and don'ts, and specific strategies that can effectively persuade. He also shares mistakes he's made and what he's learned from them, which both allows us to benefit from his errors as well as points to the right attitude toward our own inevitable mistakes.
The publisher describes Horn's book this way:
Drawing for "Truth & Life" Audio Bible
Our next drawing is for the Truth & Life Dramatized Audio Bible: New Testament, a quality production that offers a great alternative for children (or anyone) who might struggle with reading the text themselves. Also great for when you want to close your eyes and use your imagination to help you meditate on the Scriptures. Suitable for the whole family!

Drawing for "A Doorway of Amethyst"
To celebrate 25 years of serving Catholic homeschool families on the web, we are holding weekly prize drawings for a month. These drawings will feature some of our favorite resources.
First up is A Doorway of Amethyst, written by our dear friend and former Love 2 Learn review board member, Mary Daly. Mary had a passion for both faith and science, recognizing and cherishing the unity of truth. She made several wonderful contributions to education for Catholic youth, including our featured title. Cancer took her from us far, far too early. Please pray for the repose of her soul, and for her family, especially her husband, Mike. We miss you, Mary! Please pray for us as well!

Update July 25: This drawing is now closed. The winner will be announced soon!
Upgraded site is here!
Welcome to the new and improved love2learn.net!
After 17 years, we've switched to a new CMS platform, Backdrop. Our new format should allow for easier updating, and we have plans in place to update our resources for homeschoolers and add new reviews on a regular basis.
I'd like to draw your attention to some of our favorite new features:
Marguerite
What an unexpected and lovely story! Beautifully written and engaging, this short novel has many elements of real life making it so alive. A little boy who is under cancer treatment, a good and kind doctor, and twin sisters who carry crosses with courage. The mystery is well woven, the suspense done just right. Everything is unraveled in time, and we get to know a lot about a beautiful grotto in Iowa. I enjoyed very much the many Catholic references as well. I highly recommend this short novel!
